Ancient Chinese Secret
Not a few times I’m asked how I do my
artwork. My answer, more often than
not, is that it’s an ancient Chinese
secret involving Copic Markers, Colored
Pencils (of various brands) and a rusty
cauldron. This may or may not be
entirely true, but what is true is that
I’ve developed my unique style over
the last ten years and so even if I tell
you that I scan the images (composed
using the aforementioned concoction)
then select the images in Photoshop,
create image palettes when necessary
(think stars and rainbow orbs), archive
everything on gold CDs or DVDs to
reuse later, you still wouldn’t really
know what makes the images so
unique because when it gets to that
part it’s not just an Ancient Chinese
Secret—it’s Magic.
